Crisis Line of the Fox Valley

The Crisis Line provides assistance to persons with a wide variety of needs and concerns. This may include loneliness, depression, anxiety, or substance abuse. Callers receive support, direction and referrals to community services. These services include counseling, mental health services, drug and alcohol rehabilitation and programs that provide financial assistance. The Crisis Line links callers in emergency situations to crisis intervention services. The Crisis Line is a component of Crisis Services that includes both intervention and referral.

Crisis Intervention Services

Walk-in or mobile crisis services to reduce symptoms and to stabilize a person’s ability to function in the community. Services provided include assessment, counseling, referral and linkage to appropriate community services.

Community Outreach Calls

Trained volunteers offer support to persons that are elderly, disabled, physically ill, or experiencing a mental health crisis.

This support comes in the form of regular, scheduled telephone calls that provide clients with a number of services, including social interaction, medication reminders, crisis counseling, and connection to community resources.

Victims Services

24-hour assistance to victims and survivors of violent crime or trauma to respond to their psychological, emotional and physical needs. Services include crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, education, information and referral.
