AID operates two sheltered workshops in Illinois located in the cities of Aurora and Elgin. These workshops allow individuals with disabilities the opportunity to perform meaningful work and develop job skills. The AID sheltered workshops can assist your company in a number of ways including:

Recycling Program
The Association for Individual Development is excited to begin their new Recycling Program. In an effort to stay up to date with current business trends and better prepare our clients for "Green" jobs in the community.
Our recycling services are available to both businesses and individuals. For businesses interested in having their recycling handled by AID please call 630-966-4145 to discuss option available for picking up your recyclables. For individuals wishing to ensure their recyclables are being handled properly we offer drop off locations in both Elgin and Aurora.
Drop Off Locations:
- In Elgin- Bins located around the back of the Elgin Training Center near the dumpsters
- In Aurora- Drop off is available is marked containers near the overhead garage doors at the Thompson Center

First AID Kits
First AID Kits are being assembled and packaged by AID clients. These lightweight transportable First AID kits are perfect for having at work, in the car, or in your home.
